Albi adds to popular Anna Gare and Tara Dennis brands
Television personality and design expert Tara Dennis and renowned chef Anna Gare have teamed up once again with homewares and kitchenware supplier Albi for their latest collections, which were launched at this year’s Sydney Reed Gift Fair.
Marketing and communication manager, Simone Silipo, says Albi has been working with both talented women since 2012, with their collections getting better and stronger year on year.
Tara Dennis’ new Paisley range has taken a paisley pattern and given it a coastal touch. Embracing trendy pastel tones she describes her interpretation of the classic print as soft, casual and pretty.
“We believe it is best described as high tea by the sea,” says Silipo. “The collection includes a wide array of items for a perfect afternoon soiree including teacups and saucers, serving platters and condiment bowls.
“This season Anna Gare, in addition to her popular line of kitchenware products, embarks on her venture into home decorating offering a range of decorative accessories for the home. Anna Gare, who is inspired by a bright colour palette and 60s nostalgia incorporates this in to her own designs, creating eclectic, retro-style products that can be displayed in any type of living space.”
In the Davis & Waddell line, one of Australia’s favourite kitchenware brands, Albi launched the new Colour Dip collection featuring milky white servingware and napery in denim, tangerine and honey colours.
“The Colour Dip range extends across ceramics, serving boards, canisters and aprons, with each item hand dipped into the colour on a slight angle. This not only offers an interesting take on the stylish trend but ensures every product is individual and one of a kind,” explains Silipo.
Other additions included a range of new Australiana and Tropicana arrangements, poly-resin pots for both indoor and outdoor use as well as large artificial trees under the Rogue brand, and a copper range of occasional furniture and lighting by Amalfi.
“Overall, we presented approximately 1,500 new lines across all divisions, which as expected were received with great enthusiasm. Albi will definitely continue to present its new releases at the trade fairs. Products are starting to hit stores now,” Silipo adds.
