Lonely Planet releases travel accessory range
Leading travel publisher Lonely Planet has released a range of travel goods and accessories, designed to make travelling safer, easier and more comfortable.
The range will be distributed exclusively by online wholesaler Travelgoods and features more than 50 products for all types of travelling situations. Each piece is made with high quality materials and has been optimised for travel, using lightweight fabric and featuring handy storage pockets. Every product also comes with a travel tip from one of Lonely Planet’s expert authors.
Established in 1973, Lonely Planet has sold over 100 million guidebooks in nine languages, and has drawn on this extensive experience in the development of its new range.
“Our guidebooks are produced with a simple premise – we know because we go – and what better way to continue helping travellers than by releasing travel accessories that further assist you while you’re on the road?” says Chris Zeiher, Lonely Planet Asia-Pacific sales and marketing director.
For a more enjoyable flight shoppers can pick up a neck pillow, flight socks or an eye mask with earplugs, while spill proof bags, rain ponchos and drink bottles cater to those on camping adventures. The Lonely Planet range also features travel towels, toiletry bags, travel adaptors for almost every destination, and luggage locks.
