Affirmations Australia unveils inspirational marketing campaign
Greeting card and book publishing firm, Affirmations Australia, has launched a yearlong marketing campaign to promote its 2014 ranges while inspiring customers to create meaningful relationships.
“The idea is for people to identify and focus on growing the meaningful relationships around them, nurturing these with positivity and love,” says Daniel Maher, Affirmations director.
“This is done through the sharing of Affirmations aimed at uplifting souls, all while making the world, and all that live within it, a better place. We now want to give back to all the people who have supported us and helped our company grow and we also want to encourage our friends and customers to do the same.”
The Pass It On initiative focuses on a different virtue each month which will be announced via social media. These virtues will link to product released at the same time.
There is also a blog featuring the personal stories of Affirmations writers, illustrators and designers. Facebook fans will be asked to share their experiences on the blog as well as take part in a competition.
“We have created a Facebook competition asking for our friends and fans to contribute content toward a new Pass It On greeting card range that will be released later this year. The competition will be fun and easy to enter, asking for entrants to select one of 12 virtues matching it with their favourite quotations from a list, and then sharing the results with all their friends.
“Lots of product will be up for grabs with the major prize being an all-expenses paid holiday for two people to Cottonwood Cottage in Bellingen, NSW. The winner will also have their chosen Affirmation printed as part of a new greeting card and have a chance to visit Affirmations headquarters where they will learn all about how Affirmations’ products are made.”
Retailers will have access to point of sale material to spread the Pass It On message as well as tokens to give their customers access to discounts on Affirmations products on their next purchase and wholesale offers.
Affirmations has also given its website and catalogue a makeover to tie in with the campaign. The new image will be on show at the Sydney Home & Giving Fair this February.
“Our stand at the February Sydney gift fair has also been inspired by the visual direction of our campaign, and ensures that our product takes centre stage as part of an understated yet stylish stand design,” Maher adds.
“We certainly have not compromised on aesthetic and have ensured that our stand reflects the beauty found within the heart and soul of all of our products. Our refreshed and contemporary image has also been created to appeal to a wider audience, with the view to achieve maximum impact and interest at the 2014 trade shows.”
