Escape to Paradise expands range with outdoor cushions
In response to customer demand, Escape to Paradise has created its first outdoor cushion collection which also marks the brand’s move away from tropical designs to more universal styles.
The Oasis range is the result of years of research and features a cotton/linen blend that has been treated for outdoor use though they are still suitable for indoors. Designs feature classic patterns that have been digitally printed – a technique that makes colours more vibrant and more resistant to fading than screen printing.
Owner Sacha Alagich says the colours of the new cushions suit both coastal decor as well as modern styles.
“In the past we have focused on more tropical and coastal style products, whereas now we are taking the business in a new direction to have more of a universal appeal and to inspire a more contemporary style customer where creating paradise at home means to create a beautiful living space to escape to, rather than simply a tropical paradise at home,” she says.
“This range is perfect for all kinds of homewares retailers, from boutique stores to franchises. We are mostly looking to inspire store owners who like to add a splash of colour to their stores and to offer their customers a great new product that is multi-purpose, which means value for money.”
Escape to Paradise plans to extend its range of outdoor products now that it has found a technique to make its cushions withstand the elements. It will host a live demonstration at the Home & Giving Fair at Melbourne Showgrounds next month but has already had a positive response from a pre-launch to current clients.
“We always enjoy exhibiting at the Melbourne Gift Fair as there is such a great cross-section of buyers who visit the fair from Australia and around the world and we love meeting our customers and getting to know more about them, so we can continue to design more products that they will love,” adds Alagich.
