Local home decorators will have access to products from best-selling author and colour expert Annie Sloan with Chalk Paint launching in Australia and New Zealand.
The Australian-born Brit has stockists in five Australian states including New South Wales and Queensland.
Chalk Paint was first developed by Sloan in 1990. She hopes to share her passion for art and design through her business.
“Annie Sloan is a brand which has its roots in people and their experience, it is a bottom up company and not a top down company,” she says.
“Creativity is best approached obliquely so it is caught unawares… when it isn’t looking. I have a paintbrush in every room.”
The release follows the success of Sloan’s number-one Amazon ranked book, one of her 20 on decorative painting which have sold more than two million copies.
Products to be sold in Australia include Chalk Paint, soft wax and pure bristle brushes with more to come later this year.
