Australia will be the first export market for European children’s furniture brand KUKUU after Danish by Design signed on to import the range.
It was drawn to the range because of its unique, quality pieces which have a modern design.
“KUKUU’s design is eye catching and well made so it was easy to fall in love with the range,” says Gillian Rose, Danish by Design co-director. “KUKUU as a brand is a complete package and it is refreshing to see a truly unique design with such a great range of complementing pieces.”
Danish by Design says the brand fits its portfolio because it is a European label that is well made and different from other products in the market.
“We are excited to be part of something new and although that can sometimes be difficult we know that the people behind KUKUU are just as committed to making it a success as we are.”
The first range from the brand is bird&berry which features irregular lines inspired by nature and designed to stimulate a child’s curiosity. Products are made with white-washed birch and include a change table, book case and play table.
“I have no doubt that KUKUU will expand beyond the current bird&berry range and offer several designs. In the shorter term there is scope for us to bring in the children’s pieces as well as the nursery plus there will be a second colour option. Lots to look forward to,” adds Rose.
