Two new products from Dreamfarm at Ambiente
Queensland design company Dreamfarm introduced two new versions of its already popular products at the Ambiente trade fair in Frankfurt.
Launched late last year, there is now a stainless steel version of the company’s Chopula, which was a Red Dot Design winner in 2011.
“We listened to our customers and the feedback was they really wanted a stainless steel version of the Chopula,” says Cate Gransbury, international operations manager.
The stainless steel version of the spatula has a very thin base, so you can still get to those crunchy bits at the bottom of the pan, adds Gransbury.
Dreamfarm also showcased a miniature version of its popular Supoon, with which you can scrape out every last piece of food from your pan or bowl with the flat silicone scraping tip and flexible spoon sides. Both the large and small versions are now available in eight colours including red, blue, green and pink.
The company will be launching some new products in August and Gransbury says they were disappointed they couldn’t display them at Ambiente.
“The prototypes are ready to go, but manufacturing is a bit more complicated, especially the technical stuff, so it will take more time than anticipated. Hopefully they will be ready for the August Melbourne fair,” she explains.
