Slumbies launches in Australia
after the popularity of snoozies, a cross between socks and slippers, gibson importing will release a warm weather version to the australian market in spring.
slumbies are a lighter weight and new stretch fit version of the original snoozies, which is owned by us based bdi.
“the initial launch of our footcovering line in australia early this year has been very successful and we have now decided to launch our new slumbies brand and our latest lightweight stretch product with gibson,” says marshall bank bdi’s ceo.
feedback from consumer test trials showed that women wearing the product felt like they had nothing on their feet.
slumbies are machine washable and have nonskid soles making them safe for wood or tiled floors. they are available in a range of bright prints.
“the new slumbies foot covers are light enough to take along on a trip or vacation and wear in the car or on a plane trip and small enough to throw in one’s baggage without taking up the room a pair of bulky slippers would,” adds richard studham gibson’s national sales manager. “slumbies will wholesale for the same price as the original snoozies at $7.70 per pair.”
