independent retailers will now be able to stock giggle and hoot products after wholesaler jasnor extended distribution beyond abc shops and centres.
licensed items based on the popular children’s series were previously exclusive to abc stores. a select range is now available to other buyers.
“it is the right time to have particular products available at other retailers in order to continue to build the brand and extend the product ranges,” says julia cavanagh, jasnor brand manager.
products include hoot hand puppet, hoot cuddle pillow and hoot backpack buddy. the newest interactive toy on the market, talking hoot, will be available from february.
both retailers and consumers have shown strong interest in the brand, according to jasnor.
“giggle and hoot is hugely popular. jimmy giggle shopping centre meet and greets attract hundreds if not thousands of fans per venue and the merchandise program is selling on par with top licenses.”
more product additions will be released throughout the year.
