Cot Couture reveals latest range on new website
kids bedding and decor business, cot couture, has released a fresh range of products on its new online boutique store.
started up by jessica blown in 2007, the e-store features handmade linen and accessories from south australia and fabrics from the united states.
she says her goal is to find pieces which will make the nursery a stylish addition to the home.
“from talking to my customers i know that parents want their children’s room designs to compliment the rest of the home,” she says. “when parents bring their baby home they spend a lot of time in the nursery, so they want to enjoy the space as much as their child.”
to do this blown devotes her time to finding products that match cot couture’s philosophy.
“in addition to my bedding range i stock a beautiful range of wall art including hand painted artworks by nicole kerley of poppy studio, printspace designer prints, unique wooden mobiles from adorning al and softies from ige design in la.
“i think it is a wonderful feeling buying something for your child that has been hand crafted and that you know hoards of other people don’t have.”
one design with special significance to the mum of two boys is a fabric design called whimsy meadow.
“my two boys and i have special teddies that have been with us since we were born. hollee is dillan’s red little friend, bun bun is logan’s soft friend and mary is my very special handmade bear that my auntie elma made for me,” she explains.
“they have been drawn to life in their magical whimsy meadow. the design comprises a soft vintage palette perfect for a little boys or girls room.”
cot couture also has a room design service to help parents find the right pieces.
