Oopsie products designed for parents by parents
parents around the country agree – starting a family does not rob you of a sense of style – and this idea formed the genesis for lifestyle product company oopsie.
fusing an integral mix of function, form and aesthetic, oopsie’s products also tick another important box for parents – affordability – making their range both inexpensive and desirable.
oopsie directors sandy aitkenhead and jo busby believe parents are looking for more than just ‘throw away, licensed goods’ and are interested in well crafted, stylish products.
“oopsie really does fit the saying that ‘necessity is the mother of all invention’ as our initial product range of cooler bags was developed because we saw a real gap in the market,” says aitkenhead.
aitkenhead and busby found there was either an abundance of low-cost, mass produced items or high end products with nothing in between.
“it was important for us to provide parents with a choice of essential products that were well made, that they would enjoy using and wouldn’t break the budget.”
so in 2009 oopsie was born, the brainchild of two parents of young children who used their collective desire to develop products that they would be proud to use and own as a foundation for a business idea.
in just under 12 months, the queensland-based company has cultivated a loyal following from customers and retailers alike.
with muted tones and classic designs both mums and dads proudly tote the insulated bag range, which was designed with parents in mind.
this fresh range includes a bottle bag, lunch bag and double bottle bag and features either the signature oopsie scooter or bird motif in red or blue.
there are three user-friendly sizes to cater for all sorts of food and beverage combinations for parents on the move.
