Dinosaur Designs is an Australian company that was established in 1985 by Louise Olsen and Stephen Ormandy, who met while attending art school and started selling their jewellery creations at Sydney’s Paddington Markets. Working with glass, sterling silver, and resin, they entered the homeware market in 1995, driven by a philosophy of colour and form. The team now operates out of a workshop in Strawberry Hills where they handcraft each piece utilizing a trademarked resin procedure for a distinctive finish. A rainbow of tranquil marble-effect palettes is often used to create asymmetric plates, shallow dishes, beautiful vases and one-of-a-kind jewellery.
